Application Fee Details

For a single paper:

• General/OBC/EWS: 1000/-
• SC/ST/PH: 500/-

Fees for both primary and junior papers:

• General/OBC/EWS: 1200/-
• SC/ST/PH: 600/-

Pay the examination fee using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or e-challan.

Eligibility for CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name recognized). OR
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passing or enrolling in a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in line with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. OR
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or enrolling in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, and completion or enrollment in a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

Eligibility for CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)

• Graduation and passing or enrolling in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (under whatever name).
• At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation, and passing or enrolling in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, as issued from time to time.
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, and passed or appearing in a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, passed or appearing in a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.
• Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).*.
• Any candidate who has completed a B.Ed. program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to take the TET/CTET exam. Furthermore, according to the existing TET guidelines circulated via NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated August 23, 2010, is also eligible to take the TET/CTET.
• Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, and passed or appearing in a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

• The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper I to V and VI to VIII exams for December 2024. Candidates can apply online from September 17, 2024 to October 16, 2024.
• Note: This year’s exam centers are limited in each city, and the candidate will be able to see this information live when filling out the form. Candidates who want to apply for their local exam center/city should do so as soon as feasible because exam city spots are restricted.
