Jio offers free caller tune services to its customers. You can use a caller tune without paying a premium or any other fees. Furthermore, you can set your JioTune as many times (up to 3 times in a month) as you want using the MyJio app. The following are the four different ways how to set caller tune in Jio for free:

How to set caller tune in Jio App?

Follow the below steps to set the caller tune using your MyJio App:

1. First, download the MyJio app on your mobile and install the App.
2. Now, open the app and select the ‘JioTunes’ option.
3. Go to the Songs tab and select a song which you want as your Caller Tune.
4. Listen to the preview as there are many versions of songs available with the same name and select ‘Set as JioTune’.
5. When the request is properly submitted, you will receive a confirmation on your mobile.

How to set caller tune in JioSaavn?

To set caller tune via JioSaavn App, follow the below steps:

1. Install the JioSaavn music app on your iOS or Android phone.
2. After downloading, open the app with your My Jio account credentials to see a list of songs.
3. Choose a song that you want to use as your JioTune.
4. Click the three dots on the new page
5. Here, a new menu will appear; tap on set as JioTune.
6. A pop-up window will display; click the Play icon to preview the JioTune.
7. Click on Set JioTune to make the selected music your JioTune.

After completing all the above steps, Jio will send you an activation confirmation message to your mobile number.

How to set caller tune in Jio through SMS?

You can set a caller tune in Jio by sending an SMS JT to 56789 with the first three words of the song/film/album of your choice, or by sending an SMS JT to 56789 with the following codes:

MOVIE send it to 56789

ALBUM send it to 56789

SINGER send it to 56789.

After you send the message, Jio will respond with a message requesting confirmation. After getting a message from Jio, simply reply with ‘Y,’ and Jio will give you a confirmation message shortly thereafter.

How to set caller tune in Jio using the Star (*) Button?

Do you enjoy your mates’ caller tune? Jio, on the other hand, allows you to copy that. Follow the steps below to copy the caller tune from another Jio user:

1. Press * (star) before the call is answered.
2. You will then receive an SMS to confirm your consent.
3. Users must respond to this SMS with a ‘Y’ within 30 minutes.
4. Then, on your Jio number, select JioTune.

How to set a Caller Tune in Jio using IVR?

To set the Jio tune using the IVR, follow the below steps:

1. To activate a JioTune, dial 56789 from the Jio mobile number you want to activate the JioTune on.
2. Next, Choose a song from the Top Songs list to serve as your JioTune.
3. Press * (star) to copy the JioTune.
4. You will then receive an SMS to confirm your consent.
5. To activate the selected JioTune on your phone number, subscribers must reply to the SMS with ‘Y’ within 30 minutes.
